At Power the Fight, we know that frontline and practitioner-facing work — whether in violence reduction, youth work, education, or community organisations — asks a great deal of the people delivering it. Sustained exposure to trauma, complex relational dynamics, and high-stakes decision-making can take a toll, even on the most experienced and committed practitioners.
Reflective Practice
Supporting the people who support others.
Our clinical supervision and reflective practice offering exists to support that workforce: to create dedicated space for processing, thinking, and growing — individually and as teams — so that practitioners can continue to do their work safely, sustainably, and well.

How We Support You
What we offer
We provide structured, psychologically-informed supervision and reflective practice sessions for individuals, teams, and organisations working in emotionally demanding contexts. Drawing on established clinical frameworks, our sessions are designed to be both containing and developmental — a space to step back from the immediacy of frontline work and think more deeply about it.
Our approach draws on a number of core frameworks, including:
- The Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, which helps practitioners examine their work from multiple perspectives — the client, the practitioner, the relationship between them, and the wider organisational and societal context.
- Reflecting Teams, a collaborative format that brings multiple voices into the reflective process, surfacing perspectives that might otherwise stay unspoken.
- Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle, a structured model for working through experience, feeling, evaluation, and learning, so that reflection translates into practical insight.
- Social GRACES, a framework for keeping social difference and identity — gender, race, age, culture, ethnicity, and more — visible and active within supervision, rather than overlooked.
Together, these frameworks underpin a model of supervision that is rigorous, relationally attuned, and grounded in an awareness of the wider social and cultural context in which frontline work takes place.
Who’s it for
This offering is available to:
- Individual practitioners seeking regular, confidential clinical supervision
- Teams and services looking to embed reflective practice as part of their organisational culture
- Organisations and corporate partners wanting to support staff wellbeing through structured reflective space, adapted for non-clinical settings
Sessions can be delivered one-to-one, in groups, or as part of a wider reflective practice programme tailored to your organisation’s needs.
How it works
Supervision and reflective practice sessions are delivered flexibly, in blocks, by experienced clinical practitioners. Each programme is shaped around the specific needs of the individual, team, or organisation we’re working with — including the setting, the nature of the work, and any particular themes or pressures the group is navigating.
Pricing is structured per block of sessions; please get in touch for current rates and to discuss what a programme might look like for your team.
