Senior Clinical Psychologist

  • Location: The role is based in South London. The contract will be for an initial period of 12 months.
  • Salary: £51,000 pa FTE, pro rata £40,000 for 4 days

Power The Fight has grown significantly over the past three years. We are seeking to recruit a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team.

You will provide culturally sensitive psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions with young people in three schools and at least one community-based organisation as well as support partner staff in their work with more challenging cohorts e.g. those at risk of exclusion. You will work with the team to build an understanding of the need/importance for informal, creative and formal therapies and develop long-lasting therapeutic relationships with young people, their families and the wider community.

In addition to clinical work, you will provide professional leadership, consultation and supervision as appropriate. The post-holder will undertake teaching and specialised training of staff, other professionals and volunteers as well as contribute to the multi-disciplinary team.

The successful applicant will be part of a creative and supportive organisation. Regular professional and clinical supervision will be provided within the service from the Clinical Lead.

Youth Practitioner

Part Time, Initial 12 Month Contract

  • Location: The role is based in South London.
  • Salary: £24,000 FTE, pro rata £12,000 for 2.5 days a week

Power The Fight has grown significantly over the past three years. We are now seeking to appoint a Youth Practitioner to work across one or more secondary schools: To sensitively and compassionately support young people at risk of involvement in youth violence, forming trusting relationships which will form the conduit through which young people can access therapeutic services delivered by Power The Fight’s and other referral partners.

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
