Proud to Be Me CIC

Proud to Be Me CIC is a community organisation supporting girls and LGBTQ+ young people, particularly those from Black, Asian and marginalised communities. Through trauma-informed mentoring, wellbeing programmes, and community-based support, they help young people build confidence, strengthen their sense of identity, and access opportunities to thrive.

Proud to Be Me CIC creates safe and inclusive spaces where young people feel valued, heard, and empowered. Their work focuses on prevention and early intervention, supporting young people affected by issues such as violence against women and girls, exploitation, discrimination, and poor mental wellbeing.

Our role on the My Ends Project:

We believe young people are best placed to shape the solutions to the challenges they face. We’ll work alongside young people, families, and communities to deliver mentoring and personal development opportunities that build confidence, strengthen resilience, and help create safer futures for young people across Lewisham.
